SMOKERS SUSPENDED
INDIANAPOLIS - Smoking could be a danger -- to your job. Whirlpool has suspended nearly 40 workers for lying about their smoking for a health insurance break. Tobacco users are charged an extra 500 bucks in annual health insurance premiums. The suspended workers were caught lighting-up on company property in Evansville, Indiana. Whirlpool says the employees will be allowed to present their case before a final decision is made regarding their future. |
