If you're planning on flying before the end of the month, make sure to know which entrance to the airport to use.

A construction project to replace the pavement at the west entrance and exit lanes at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport will start Monday, October 17.

The sidewalk and handicap access ramps on either side of the entrance/exit will also be under reconstruction. Also, traffic control detection loops in the pavement will be replaced.

The entrance/exit to the airport across from the entrance to the Kensington Expressway (Route 33) will be closed nightly from Monday, October 17 to Friday, October 21, and again Monday, October 24 to Tuesday, October 25 from 6 p.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition, single lane closures on Genesee Street and at the entrance or exit lanes will take place intermittently between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The construction schedule could change due to weather.
