The Wyoming County District Attorney's office announced Friday 29-year-old Joshua Huntress of Mayville waived indictment and pled guilty to multiple charges.

Huntress pled guilty to Aggravated Vehicular Homicide and Three counts of Assault.

These charges stem from an incident in July on Route 20A in the Town of Orangeville. Officials say Huntress ingested various controlled substances and began to drive towards Chautauqua County.

He was reportedly driving all over the road and crossed over into the eastbound lane striking two motorcycles, leaving one of four people dead, two others still recovering from injuries.

The defendant's sentencing will be on January 18 at 2 p.m.
