We’re already seeing some flooding in Western New York soon after a flood watch goes into effect today. The Cayuga Creek in Niagara Falls flooded into yards on 91st and 92nd Street, near Brookside Drive.

Niagara Falls emergency crews say this is the highest they’ve seen the water in years. It’s expected to get worse tonight with the rainfall.

All of Western New York is under a flood from 2:00 pm to midnight tonight, as well as a tornado watch until 10:00 pm, with a string of strong thunderstorms producing strong winds from now until later this evening. The highest risk of severe Thunderstorms will be east of Niagara, Erie and Chautauqua Counties.
