The third annual Festival of India brought thousands out to Canalside. The even showcased local Bollywood and Indian performing arts, Indian Cuisine, shopping and henna.
The event hosted by The India Association of Buffalo has grown substantially in the three years, with attendance this year edging close to 3,000. Both Akruti Babaria and Kalimuthu Chithambaram of The India Association of Buffalo said the festival is a "home away from home" for not only them, but the Indian community here in Western New York.
