Genesee County, NY - Plans for a new funeral home in LeRoy and a relocated auto dealership in Attica are advancing, thanks to incentive packages approved by the Genesee County Economic Development Center's board of directors.

Approved were:

• An incentive package for Triple F Services Inc., parent company of Falcone Family Funeral Services. The firm is seeking $33,450 in mortgage recording and sales tax exemptions that will help finance a plan to construct a 4,500-square-foot new funeral home on Lake Road in LeRoy.

The project carries a $602,000 development price tag and will create three new jobs.

• Upstate Dodge Chrysler and Jeep Inc. was granted $24,800 in sales tax breaks for its plan to shift its dealership from West Avenue in Attica to a vacant Prospect Street building that, at one time, also housed an auto dealership.

Upstate is investing $655,000 in the project and is expected to create 17 new jobs with the move.

"This fits into one of our missions to create viable commerce opportunities in our towns and villages," said Steven Hyde, Genesee County Economic Development Center president and chief executive officer.
