Mighty Taco to Open Downtown

Mighty Taco will soon call Chippewa Street home. Business First says Mighty Taco will lease a portion of the first floor of the Calumet building, on Chippewa Street between Pearl and Franklin, next to Bacchus. Mighty Taco is expected to open by early spring. The law firm Kenney Shelton Liptak & Nowak now owns the building and is renovating upper floors for offices. With the Chippewa Street site, Mighty Taco will have 20 locations, including the first Rochester location that opens this spring.

The Buffalo Sabres have a one-in-three chance of making the NHL playoffs, according to computer statistics. Sports Club Stats is a North Carolina-based website that runs daily computer simulations to estimate the playoff odds for all 30 NHL teams. It says the Sabres chances are 35.9 percent. The Boston Bruins top the list at 100.0 percent, followed by the New York Rangers at 99.9 percent.
