An Orchard Park home that had been owned by former Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Jason Peters and was heavily damaged this summer during a lightning strike has been sold.

Jeffrey Drozdowski of East Aurora paid $30,000 for Peters' former home on Stoughton Lane in Orchard Park, according to documents filed in the Erie County Clerk's office. Peters paid $360,000 for the home in 2006, documents indicate. The house had an assessed value of $225,200.

The home was vacant when lightning struck it on July 25.

The Town of Orchard Park Assessor's Office received paperwork from Drozdowski indicating he plans to renovate the home.

Peters was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles by the Bills three years ago.
