A Buffalo native is hitting the road to help women battle hair loss. Elline Surianello is a Buffalo native and the owner of Le Metric, a New York City business that specializes in hair replacement.

Many of her patients are in hospitals or rehab centers and can't get to her so she took her business on the road in a custom made mobile beauty van, which also allows her to help people outside the NYC area. The van allows her to fit women for natural hair pieces on the road. It is even complete with a runway out the back of the van for promotional events.

Surianello suffers from hair loss herself so she can personally relate to her patients. "If I don't support this art, it won't be around because someone like myself needs to wear hair," she said. "I'm not wearing hair for fun. This is part of who I am and what I am."

That's why this business idea was a natural fit for Surianello who advises other entrepreneurs to follow their dreams. "Most people have a feeling of the business they want to pursue, but say they don't have enough experience, or money, or customers," she said. "But it starts with 'What do you love to do?' In my case, I love helping women and helping them be beautiful again."

Surianello says mobile business ranks seventh for growing businesses so she is hoping for success. She's using social media to get the word out. You can find Le Metric on Facebook, Twitter YouTube and more.
