Roswell Park Cancer Institute has opened its newly renovated intensive care unit, completing a $4 million shift within the facility.
A formal ribbon cutting on the project is planned for Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m.
The project included shifting the ICU from the third floor of the Carlton Street site to an 8,000-square-foot space on the eighth floor, with an increase from 10 to 14 treatment rooms. The unit also includes larger nursing stations and new telemetry equipment.
The redesign increases space for patient care, improves work flow, and provides an update waiting area for families.
