North Forest Office Space, of Williamsville, is expanding into central Texas.

The development company has started work on its first Texas project, in the City of Pflugerville, northeast of Austin.

The project calls for 34,000 square feet of professional, medical and dental space. Construction on phase one of four phases is underway. It should be ready for occupancy by early summer.

The project is aimed at small-to-medium sized professional, medical and dental business segments, according to a company press release.

"Central Texas has seen significant growth over the past ten years, and with that growth comes a need for businesses to locate in the area," stated manager Brendan Jordan in the prepared release. "What we focus on is providing flexible small business solutions. We try to take as much off of the business owner's plate as possible, so they can concentrate on running their business or medical or dental practice instead of getting overwhelmed by the process of developing an office location. That is what ultimately makes us unique - we do our work so our customers can concentrate on theirs."

North Forest Office Space made the decision to move into Central Texas after studying the market for two and a half years. The company currently operates professional office parks in suburban Buffalo, Rochester and Denver. North Forest got its start in Buffalo in 1976 in the residential real estate market, before moving into commercial development.
