Canadian manufacturer Welded Tube is moving to a portion of the former Bethlehem Steel site. We told you about that earlier this year. Now a report in this week's Business First shows how the investment is paving the way for more development. Three property owners, the ECIDA and South Buffalo Railway all came up with a complex deal to bring Welded Tube in. They've also agreed to relocate a railway opening 400 acres for possible development. They expect more businesses to line up at the site, which is development-ready.

KegWorks is tapping into an expansion. The bar-supplies company is now an $8.6 million business that has once again outgrown its office space. KegWorks just moved into a new headquarters on Military Road in Kenmore, marking its third relocation in 14 years.

Just in time for holiday shoppers, LongHorn Steakhouse is now open for business in Orchard Park at Quaker Crossing. A ribbon cutting was held Monday. A Cheektowaga site will open next year. The chain is now looking for other sites in WNY.
