Do you carpool or to drive to and from work alone? If you answered alone, you're not alone. The majority of WNYers do drive to work solo and that's how it is across most of the country, despite high gas prices. A new On Numbers report says more than 81% of workers in Buffalo Niagara drive to and from work by themselves. Researchers say three-quarters of American workers do the same. Small town Corinth, Mississippi tops the list for solo commuters. Out of major metro areas, Detroit, the auto capital, has the most solo commuters. The top city for carpooling is New York City.
