Noco caters to air travelers

A new Noco Express store is now open on Genesee Street, across from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. The new store is complete with a kiosk for check-in at the airport. Business First says you can print boarding passes at the store and it features departure and arrival screens to monitor flights. The new Noco store was built with various green building technologies to reduce energy consumption and is equipped to handle charging stations for electric cars.

Northtown Automotive Group is expanding, after buying a site at 3689 Sheridan Drive where The Falafel Bar is located. Business First says The Falafel Bar will remain open, until it moves to a new location. Then Northtown's Hyundai/Subaru dealership will use the space.

Some area colleges are making a list of the most selective in the east. On Numbers analyzed 2010 admissions for 344 four-year colleges. Eleven upstate New York schools, including SUNY Geneseo and the University at Buffalo, rank in the top quarter for selectivity. The study is based on the percentage of applicants admitted and test scores. Princeton University is the most selective institution in the east.
