Chippewa building to get makeover

A Chippewa Street property has changed hands and a renovation will soon be in the works. Business First says two business owners, that are tenants in the building, have teamed up to buy 67 West Chippewa Street. It houses two nightclubs. The report says Adam March, owner of Debt Management Partners and also the Bayou nightclub and Daniel Valentine, owner of the Pure nightclub - bought the site. According to the Erie County Clerk's office, they paid more than $1.2 million. The report says the new owners are planning a dramatic face lift of the operations and the building. The owners say they want to be part of the buzz and lead the charge on Chippewa.

A retail store in Clarence is welcoming a special visitor this month... a famous designer! The Perfect Gift is a shop in Clarence Center that has a large collection of Vera Bradley handbags. They're very popular these days so the owner invited Vera Bradley's daughter, Joan, to visit Clarence Center and learn its history. Apparently, Joan inspired the handbag line.
