BUFFALO, N.Y. ( Business First ) A new travel piece in a Toronto newspaper recommends Buffalo as the destination for a "spur-of-the-moment day trip."

The story in the Toronto Sun -- headlined "Downtown Buffalo has character and class" -- says the city is "still oozing with charm." It focuses on the central business district, which (in the Sun's words) "offers a step-back-in-time experience."

Among the recommended stops: City Hall, Niagara Square, Lafayette Square, the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library, Shea's Performing Arts Center and Spot Coffee.
