Two longtime friends from South Buffalo are teaming up to bring back a childhood memory. Jack Kuebler and Tony Mangione remember when this site on Ridge Road in Lackawanna was a popular McDonald's restaurant. In recent years, it served as a restaurant and then a pizzeria, but has been vacant for some time. Now the entrepreneurs are opening Big Top, a restaurant with hotdogs, ice cream, clams and more. It will debut later this month, in mid to late April. The two business owners admit it is a risk, but they hope to revitalize a whole section of Ridge Road in Lackawanna with the project.
