Business First of Buffalo - by James Fink
A trendy Buffalo area retailer is bringing its upscale operations to the city's central business district.
LU Modern Classics, on Nov. 19, will open its third area store in the Ellicott Square Building.
"We are thrilled to be part of the downtown renaissance," said Louis Schreiber, LU's owner.
LU's offers a mix of both men's and women's clothing, accessories and related apparel from both local and international sources. The company had an Elmwood Avenue location until earlier this year.
LU's has an outlet in Orchard Park along N. Buffalo Road and near the Wilson Boathouse in Wilson.
"We provide what the market is demanding, with high quality, a friendly staff and affordable, classic wardrobing," Schreiber said.
