After eight years, Stand Advertising is closing its doors. Founder Janet Stanek tells Business First the poor economy affected industries that Stand serviced - specifically, health care and gambling. She expected to close by this week. In September, 23 people worked there, but employment had shrunk to just a handful.

The $291 million project will give Kaleida a new emergency department, with new medical and surgical areas.
