Businesses "reel in" new customers

The Bassmaster Elite Series Empire Chase wrapped up Sunday at the Small Boat Harbor. More than 200 pro and amateur anglers took part in the competition. ESPN estimates the economic impact from Bassmasters at more than $700,000. Visitors booked 1,300 hotel room nights. The Bassmasters will air on ESPN2 Saturday morning at 9am. The CVB is negotiating to bring the tournament back in 2010.
