Businesses Gear Up for Taste of Buffalo
Sixty restaurants and six wineries will get the chance to wine and dine the public this weekend with a taste from their menus at the 26th annual Taste of Buffalo. For many, the long term goal is to land some new customers who will visit restaurants for a full meal in the future. The Taste is presented by Tops Markets. Store officials say valuable exposure is gained by taking part in the annual event. This year 450,000 people are expected to take part in the Taste, which runs along Delaware Avenue and Niagara Square on Saturday and Sunday. Organizers say it is the largest two-day food festival in the whole country. The public can go to www.tasteofbuffalo.com to download menus and maps before heading downtown.
