Upgraded site nearly completed for Imagine Staffing

Renovations are nearly complete at Imagine Staffing, which plans to add three to its 16-person staff, and nearly double in size in the coming years.

CEO Brian Manley said finishing touches on the building at 892 Main Street in Buffalo, which sat vacant for more than a year and had been home to Hospice Buffalo, should be complete in about a month.

Last year, he and his wife, Gia, bought the 8,400 square-foot building for about $485,000. He said about twice that amount has been spent on renovations. These have included stripping away layers of drop ceilings to expose original ornate panels, and restoring old windows that have been covered by brick.

While workers paint and work in the back of the building near the North Pearl Street employee entrance, Manley talked about how he'd like to add three business development and account executive staff by year's end.

About a third of the building to the right of the main entrance is currently a staging area for construction equipment. Eventually, he said, that would house extra offices and a conference room. A grand opening is planned for July 22.

Imagine has national accounts and focuses on staffing for four primary areas that include: IT, engineering, industrial and administrative. Revenues for 2014 are projected to be about $10 million.
