The University at Buffalo School of Management is inviting veterans and active duty or reserve members of the U.S. armed forces to its first-ever Military MBA Preview Day, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 4 in the Alfiero Center on UB's Amherst campus.

Attendees will be invited to attend an MBA class, hear from a panel of students and alumni with military backgrounds, meet prospective employers and discuss how to leverage a military background into a career, according to a UB news release.

Reginald Sanders, a colonel and deputy U.S. property and fiscal officer in the New York National Guard, will serve as keynote speaker. He will be introduced by Roger Woodworth, president and CEO of the Veterans One-Stop Center of WNY Inc., according to UB.

A reception for prospective students will follow the event, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Templeton Landing, 2 Templeton Terrace, Buffalo. Registration emails should be sent to Meghan Felser, associate director of admissions, at mpwood@buffalo.edu, by Friday.

U.S. News and World Report ranked UB 21st among national universities in their "Best Colleges for Veterans" category.
