Two Western New York projects will be receiving $11,500 in grants from the Preservation League of New York State.

The money will assist the process of nominating two Buffalo neighborhoods for inclusion on the state and national registers of historic places.

The statewide group will donate $4,000 to the Hamlin Park Historic District on Buffalo's East Side, as well as $7,500 to the Richmond Ashland Historic District on the West Side.

Formal announcement of the grants will be made at a Wednesday reception at the Statler Towers.
