Every year, Business First ranks the area's 97 school districts, and their individual schools, in the Business First Guide to WNY Schools. The results are based on four years of test data from the New York State Education Department. This year, Williamsville is the number one district and Nardin Academy is the number one high school in WNY.

Researchers also recognize schools and districts with subject awards based on state test scores. For science scores, the top districts in alphabetical order, are Alden, Alfred-Almond, Barker, Bemus Point, Clarence, East Aurora, Grand Island, Iroquois, Orchard Park and Williamsville.

You can find more rankings in the Business First school guide or at the website buffalo.bizjournals.com.
