BUFFALO, NY ( Business First ) Internal changes are in the works at Rich Products. The company used to have a dual focus: North America and International. But as of January 1, Rich's will operate as one organization, with five regional business units: U.S./Canada, Asia/Pacific, Latin America, Europe/Middle East and South Africa. Some executives will adjust their roles for what Rich's calls "the next step in its organizational evolution." Rich's has more than 1,300 local workers and more than 8,000 worldwide.

A local business is in the holiday spirit these days. More than 200 employees work at Gordon Companies, home to Dave's Christmas Wonderland in Cheektowaga and its online division, It is one of the fastest growing businesses in the country, according to Inc. Magazine. Yesterday, Senator Grisanti toured the facility. Holiday lights are one of the top items sold to consumers and to designers.

The store should be busy right through Christmas. The National Retail Federation says 16.5% of consumers, that's nearly 37 million people, have had not even started their shopping as of late last week. Only 7.6 percent are completely finished shopping.
The survey says 25-34 year-olds have more shopping done than other age group.
