BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library System has scheduled three meetings on consecutive nights requesting public comment on the future of the system.
The sessions, part of the library system's "Re-Imagine" campaign, are scheduled for Monday, Nov. 8 through Wednesday, Nov. 10. The Nov. 8 meeting will be held from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the central library in downtown Buffalo. The Nov. 9 meeting is set for 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Erie Community College South, Orchard Park, Building 5, room 5102. The final meeting on Nov. 10 is set for ECC North, Williamsville, Bretschger hall, room B401.
The Re-Imagine campaign is expected to take several months and is being led by George DeTitta, principal research scientist at Hauptman-Woodward Institute.
The library system is facing the possibility of staff and other reductions as funding is lessened.
