BUFFALO< NY (WKBW) - Larry Robb, former general manager and vice president at Entercom Buffalo LLC, has acquired SKM Group, a marketing communications agency based in Depew.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Robb's title will be CEO. Susan Meany, who founded the company in 1986, will remain as president. Robb and Meany have no plans to alter SKM Group's staff.

Meany will continue to split her time between SKM Group's Buffalo-area and Florida offices and will focus on the agency's new business development and client retention, while Robb will oversee the day-to-day aspects of running the agency.

Robb had been in his position at Entercom, which comprises seven local radio stations, for 12 years prior to resigning last week.

He is a Western New York native and strong supporter of local causes and nonprofits. He serves on the board of directors for Kaleida's Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo and is the president of the board of the SPCA serving Erie County.
