Pacillio's Fitness Gear is looking down the New York State Thruway for another outlet.

Pacillio's has signed a lease to open a 6,000-square-foot store in Henrietta, just across from the Market Place Mall on Hylan Drive. The store is slated to officially open on Nov. 5.

"This expansion has long been in the works and we're really excited to finally be here," said Mike Pacillo, company general manager.

In addition to the traditional cardiovascular equipment like treadmills and ellipticals, the store features a complete selection of weight lifting gear, medicine balls, kettle bells, drag sleds and battling ropes.

Pacillo's also carries a full line of boxing, martial arts and mixed martial arts equipment.

"We really exist for everyone from the most dedicated fitness enthusiasts to any beginner," Pacillo said.

Pacillo's first opened its doors in 1976 on Hertel Avenue in North Buffalo, but moved last year to its current location on Sheridan Drive in Amherst.

"We undergo a painstaking process to find our equipment," Pacillo said.
