LACKAWANNA, NY (WKBW) - The former OLV Hospital in Lackawanna has a whole new look that has been years in the making. A report in today's Business First shows how a new Victory Technology Center is now open in the last remaining undeveloped space. It features data storage for Catholic Health, and for other companies, along with meeting space and video conference rooms.

Our Lady of Victory Hospital shutdown in 2000 and Catholic Health made a commitment to reuse the site. The data center is the final piece of the $30 million redevelopment project with OLV Senior Neighborhood.

Where do you do your banking? A report in today's Business First says nearly one in every 10 households in Western New York handles finances without a traditional bank. Some area bankers want to go after that "un-banked or under-banked" business. First Niagara is expected to roll out a product in coming months targeting potential customers.

A new national study by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. says 28% of U.S. households are unbanked or underbanked. 25% in the northeast fall in that category, 29% in NYS and and 9 to 10% in the Buffalo Niagara area.
