10,000 people showed up for the Buffalo Sabres scrimmage earlier this week proving that WNY is a hockey town. That's evident to retailers like Pure Hockey, a massachusetts company that will soon open an Amherst location. A report in today's Business First says Pure Hockey signed a lease with Benderson Development for a store on Sheridan Drive. The report says Pure Hockey is a fast-expanding sporting goods chain. The store will be the chain's 16th location. It should open by April.
