NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. ( release ) The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is offering vouchers for spectator access to the Terrapin Point area of Goat Island for Nik Wallenda's historic high-wire walk over Niagara Falls will be available starting Friday, June 1 at 9:00 a.m.
Wallenda is planning his walk across the falls on the evening of June 15.
State Parks officials say the Terrapin Point area can accommodate 4,000 spectators. The free tickets to the Terrapin Point area will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis for interested spectators who pre-order through the website www.walkthefalls.com. Spectators will be limited to a maximum of five vouchers per email address. Vouchers secured via the website can be redeemed for a wristband on June 15.
