New partnership for D'Youville College

D'Youville College has a new student-exchange program. D'Youville is teaming up with Northwestern Health Sciences University, a natural health sciences university in Minnesota. The deal allows D'Youville students to spend their final semester at the college in Minnesota and vice versa. A report in this week's Business First says, eventually, the partnership may lead to more collaboration. About 85 students are enrolled in D'Youville's chiropractic studies program, which began in 2004.

It's the end of January so, by now, many people have given up on their health and fitness resolutions. Trainers at Best Fitness in Tonawanda say that doesn't mean you're a failure. It's time to start over. They advise you to set milestones with smaller goals to reach on the way to your big goal. And reward yourself every time you hit one.

This week's Business First takes a look at the largest health clubs in WNY, based on the number of members. YMCA Buffalo Niagara is first. The Buffalo Athletic Club ranks second, followed by Gold's Gym in Williamsville, then the Jamestown YMCA and the Women's Wellness Center.
