A veteran commercial real estate insider has been recruited to join the staff of McGuire Development Co.
Tom Keller, who has worked for such companies as Benderson Development Co., DDR, Philips Edison Co. and his own Keller & Grimm firm, has agreed to join McGuire as its director of leasing. The position is a new one, recently created by McGuire Development President James Dentinger.
Keller begins work at McGuire on March 31.
In Keller, McGuire has a commercial real estate broker with deep ties and connections in retail circles and in the office field.
"My goal is to help take McGuire to a different level," Keller said.
McGuire Development has been very aggressive in expanding its real estate portfolio, which now has more than 3.5 million square feet. In recent years, it has turned the former Sheehan Memorial Hospital into the Compass East Center whose anchor tenants include Time Warner Cable's Business Class operations. The firm is also building the new headquarters for the Tronconi Segarra & Associates on Main Street in Clarence.
