Business First is saying goodbye to three decades of blue and hello to emerald green. From 1984 to 2014, in 30 years of providing business news to the Western New York community, Business First has gotten several makeovers, but none have been as noticeable as this.

Readers will notice that Business First looks different, but editor Jeff Wright says it's more than just a new paint job. "The way people consume news is changing and if we don't change with them, they're going to leave us behind," he said.

So subscribers can expect more digital content, social media interaction and bold print graphics to display facts and statistics.

The change comes at a time when Buffalo is undergoing its own makeover, with new investment and development. Publisher Jack Connors helped found Business First 30 years ago and says nothing in that time compares to the current momentum. "I think this is the story," he said. "The time we're living in right now is the story of the moment and it's probably one of the most important stories for City of Buffalo and the community going forward."
