E.M. Chrusciki Bakery has been part of Buffalo's Broadway Market for decades. The Polish bakery opened its second location in Lancaster in March on the lucky Irish day of St. Patrick's Day.

The new bakery and wholesale facility is at 80 West Drullard Avenue. Company president Ania Gurnari says the business is taking off at the second site. "It's going very well. We've been open about three weeks now and it's been very busy," she said. "We've realized how nice of a following we have. So the word is out that our second location is open. We're baking on premises and its going really good."

E.M. Chrusciki is doing a lot more production on the wholesale side and is still baking at the Broadway Market, but production might eventually shift to Lancaster. However, Gurnari says E.M. Chrusciki will not abandon its roots and will remain open at the market where her parents starting working when moving here from Poland more than 20 years ago.

Easter is the busiest season for the bakery. You can contact E.M. Chrusciki at 681-9866. Or go to their website at http://www.chruscikibakery.com/home.php
