Citi, the leading global bank, will hold a career fair at its Amherst site, at 540 Crosspoint Parkway in Getzville, NY, on Saturday, March 16, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. To register, go to News Links at wkbw.com for a link to Citi's website.
Area tourism agencies are going after people on staycation. The Niagara Tourism & Convention Corporation (ntcc), Visit Buffalo Niagara and Wyoming County Chamber & Tourism all teamed up with with tripcentral.ca to participate in a Canadian consumer based marketing and sales program. It runs through March 31. Accommodations and attractions from all three counties are highlighted in a "vacation station", a kiosk in Toronto's Union Station.
Officials say they have high expectations that it will draw visitors here.
