State and local officials are reviewing six bids that were submitted by area developers, all vying to land one of the most coveted new office tenants in recent years. They tell Business First the process will be completed soon. The IBM hub could employ as many as 500 people. The IBM deal was announced in late February by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who said he hoped IBM would begin its Buffalo operations by November. State officials say they remain on that schedule.
