BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Want to arrive at work with a kick in your step and want your employees to do the same? A motivational speaker is coming to Buffalo to help out. Dr. Bob Nelson is considered one of the world's leading experts on employee motivation and performance. He has written multiple books and has worked with 80 percent of Fortune 500 companies.

Nelson says if you want your employees to perform, you have to recognize and reward them for their hard work everyday. "Not at the end of the week, not at the end of the month, not when you're in a good mood, on daily basis, there's an importance of this daily activity. They act on it here and now," he said in a presentation.

According to Nelson, 85 percent of employees say they don't get recognition at work. Nelson says people come to work for money, but they leave for recognition..
