Genome Center Coming to Buffalo

ALBANY, NY (WKBW-TV) - During his 2014 State of the State address Governor Andrew Cuomo announced he wants to establish a genome center in Buffalo. Cuomo pledges a $100 million facility in the growing Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.

This new initiative is the latest project in the "Buffalo Billion" campaign.

The University at Buffalo and Roswell Park Cancer Institute are involved. They will be providing more details later this afternoon.
