Developers have been keeping a close eye on Delaware Avenue. Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital is set to close in about six weeks. So what will happen to the site?
Uniland Development is interested in it, while Mark Croce is not. That's according to a new report in today's Business First. Kaleida is sending out a Request For Proposal. Developers have until March 1 to respond and until April 6 to submit a formal proposal.
Kaleida is offering $1 million to the development team that is chosen. The report says there is interest from local and national companies. Medical services are shifting from Gates to Buffalo General.

Seneca Gaming is moving forward with the Buffalo Creek Casino in Downtown Buffalo, though the anti-casino movement is still ongoing. A report in today's Business First looks at the third lawsuit that is in the works by anti-gaming forces. The report says it could be years before the matter is resolved, but that is not stopping the Senecas. They say the project is a big part of Inner Harbor development. No word on when the casino will be complete.
