BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Former Buffalo Sabre Derek Roy has sold his waterfront condominium to a very familiar buyer.
According to documents filed in the Erie County Clerk's office, Roy sold his Rivermist condo to Second Half LLC, an entity sources said is connected to Sabres' owner Terry Pegula. Second Half paid $550,000 for the condo. Roy bought the condo in February 2006, paying $510,000.
Sources said Pegula also who owns a condo elsewhere in Buffalo's Waterfront Village.
Roy was traded by the Sabres in June to the Dallas Stars for forward Steve Ott and defenseman Adam Pardy.
