An Allentown building that was once home to several radio stations including WHTT-FM and WGRF-FM (97 Rock) has been sold.

Businessman Tom Wagner, owner of Earthwatch Waste Systems, bought the 6,700-square-foot building at 464 Franklin St., and a nearby 25-car parking lot at 454 Franklin, paying $475,000. The circa 1926 building had been owned by an affiliate of Personal Touch Food Services.

Earthwatch will be moving some of its offices into the building.

Citadel Communications moved its studios from Franklin Street a decade ago. Since then, the building has been sold at least twice.

"It is a great Allentown property, especially with the parking lot," said Alan Hastings, Hastings Cohn Real Estate founder and one of the brokers on the deal. The other broker was Jay Newman from Hastings Cohn Real Estate.
