Community Charter School headed to auction block

The Community Charter School, which closed last month after losing its state charter and accreditation, is putting its property on the auction block.

Also being auctioned off are a wide variety of contents including IT equipment, furniture and fixtures.

The school's directors retained Cash Realty & Auctions to handle the auction, which is set for 10 a.m., July 12 at the building on 404 Edison Avenue in Buffalo. Auctioneer Cash Cunningham said the school will be auctioned first, followed by the furniture and equipment.

The 42,000-square-foot school sits on 2.18 acres.

"This is an extraordinarily well-maintained building with a new addition that was built within the past 4 years, and all of the systems have been updated," Cunningham said.
