Williamsville is Western New York's most affluent school district. That's according to Business First socioeconomic rankings of public school districts.
Researcher say Williamsville holds the most affluent title for the second year in a row.
Williamsville has the second highest median household income in WNY at $80,579.
Its poverty level is just over five percent, while its free/reduced lunch rate is 11 percent, both fourth-lowest.
After Williamsville, East Aurora is second in the socioeconomic rankings, followed by Orchard Park, Clarence and Iroquois.
Buffalo ranks last. Also at the bottom: Lackawanna, Friendship, Jamestown and Niagara Falls.
The ratings cover all 98 districts in Western New York.
