Tuition exceeded $10,000 at six private high schools in Western New York during the academic year that is now coming to an end.
Business First is out with a slideshow that provides a quick rundown of 19 private high schools from lowest to highest in basic annual tuition:
Business First's research director, Jerry Rott, compiled this list, which includes the basic annual tuition charged by each school during the 2013-2014 academic year, along with the gender of its students and its position in Business First's academic rankings of 135 Western New York high schools (both public and private).
The tuition list is confined to schools that primarily draw students from the eight-county region. It does not include the Gow School, which is a boarding school.
