Add Niagara Falls to the growing list of location's for Duff's, the chicken wing-based restaurant chain.

Officials from Phillips Edison Co. confirmed that Duff's has signed a lease to occupy 3,896-square-feet in the Pine Plaza. The plaza is located near the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls shopping center, which itself will be expanding in the next year.

Duff's main restaurant on Sheridan Drive in Amherst is popular with both local residents as well as the heavy influx of Canadians who come to the region to shop or fly out of the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

The Niagara Falls Duff's location is expected to open by early June.

The site is the latest in Duff's expansion plans that has seen the restaurant chain recently open in the Eastern Hills Mall.

Duff's made national headlines in 2010 when President Obama stopped by its Cheektowaga location for an order of wings while en route to a Buffalo speaking engagement.
