Buffalo is known as the 20 minute city and now a national report confirms that Buffalo has one of the smoothest traffic flows in the East. A new report by On Numbers ranks Buffalo 4th. Researchers analyzed commuting data from the U.S. Census. Out of major markets in the East, researchers say Syracuse has the smoothest commute. One-third of workers can get to work in less than 15 minutes there. Scranton-Wilkes-Barre, PA is second, then Rochester and Buffalo in 4th place!
Joe Basil Chevrolet is revving up its engines. The Depew dealership is ranked number one in New York State and number four in the country for sales volume in December. That's out of more than 3,000 chevy dealers. The Basil family of dealerships is known for its annual operation Santa Claus to collect toys for the needy. Joe Basil Chevy says it sold 379 units in December. The dealership has ranked in the top ten nationally for six years in a row. Officials credit customer dedication for the success. Joe Basil has been in the auto business since 1952.
