When local companies want to boost exports, many often call on The World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara. The organization was formed 22 years ago by 19 regional companies. The international trade organization provides tools, education and member benefits for companies focused on exporting.

Next week, the organization will hosts its 15th annual World Trade Celebration at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center. President Chris Johnston says it will be complete with a trade show. "Companies around our region get to showcase what they do internationally," he said. "A lot of companies like Eastman or Columbus McKinnon employ hundreds of people and a lot of people don't even know about them and this is their opportunity to show what they deliver to the world."

The event will be complete with dinner and some world renowned keynote speakers from two international companies: Dunkin Brands and Ford Motor Company. It runs from 3:30 to 9pm on October 20 at the convention center.
