It doesn't make much sense to grade each team's performance at the National Football League draft, since the results won't be known for years.
But several media outlets do it, anyway, and there's always strong interest in their opinions.
USA Today has issued a positive report card to the Buffalo Bills this morning, ranking the Bills seventh among the 32 teams for their work in last week's draft.
Bills General Manager Doug Whaley is credited with having "aggressively committed resources to better support quarterback EJ Manuel in his second pro season." And the team's first-round pick, Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins, is expected by USA Today to "turbocharge a passing game that scared no one last year."
The Cleveland Browns are No. 1 in this year's draft rankings, while the Indianapolis Colts are dead last.
